POOL_AT_GOLDEN_HOUR.jpg
Swimming Pool (3ft–9ft)
The Long Pool
Three feet to nine feet of very good decisions
Shallow enough at one end that the children can be left to it. Deep enough at the other that the adults can actually swim. Nobody else in it — which, if you have ever tried to enjoy a hotel pool in the school holidays, is the entire point. Best at 7am, when it is glass and the mist is still in the valley. Second best at 11pm.

Private Waterfall
The Falls
A waterfall. On the property. Not near it.
This is the thing people do not believe until they walk down to it. A private waterfall, on the estate, yours for the duration — no trail, no ticket, no other visitors. Go in the late afternoon when the light comes through sideways. Take the good camera. Come back cold.

BBQ Area & Smoker Oven
The Fire Kitchen
A grill, a smoker, and a man who will not come inside
Between them, the grill and the smoker are responsible for most of what happens on a Saturday afternoon here. Somebody in your group is going to take charge of the smoker at three o clock and refuse all help for six hours. Let them. It is the happiest they have been in months. Your House Hosts will get everything set up and lit, and they know how the smoker actually behaves.

Campfire Pit
The Circle
The fire, and everything said around it
The campfire is where a good weekend turns into one people talk about for years. The children go to bed. The talk slows down. Somebody says something true. If you are on Jef Hill Reserve, the fire is lit for you — complimentary, ready when you want it.

Karaoke Lounge
The Song Room
Nobody wants to. Then nobody will stop.
A proper karaoke lounge, indoors, in a house where the nearest neighbour is a hill away. There is no version of this that ends before midnight.

Automatic Mahjong Table & Pool Table
The Games Room
An automatic mahjong table, which is a sentence that means something to about half of you
If you know, you know: an automatic table means no shuffling, four more rounds than anyone planned, and an argument that carries over to next year. There is a pool table too, which is where the corporate groups end up at half past eleven.

Fully Equipped Kitchen
The Estate Kitchen
Bring a chef. Bring a caterer. Bring your mother.
Fully equipped, and big enough to actually cook for the whole group rather than assemble sandwiches. Which means you have real options: cook it yourselves, bring in a caterer, or have a private chef come to the house. On Jef Hill Reserve, your Reserve Host arranges the chef, discusses the menu, handles dietary requirements and coordinates the timing.

Terrace & Valley Outlook
The Terrace
The eleven minutes at the end of the day
Sunset over the Kinta Valley limestone takes about eleven minutes and it stops conversation every time. Everybody comes out for it. Nobody plans to.

The invitation
Tell us what you're planning
Not which dates. Not how many nights. Start with the occasion — the birthday, the wedding, the reunion, the retreat — and we'll take it from there.
We reply personally, usually within the hour.
