Wellness retreats
A place to be unobserved
A private estate, a waterfall, and nobody watching.
The argument
Retreat means the world goes away
Most “retreat venues” are shared. There is another group in the next building, staff walking past, guests at the pool who did not come for this. Which is fine for a holiday and quietly fatal for a retreat — because the whole thing depends on people being willing to stop performing, and nobody stops performing while strangers are watching.
At Jef Hill there is no one else. Not in another wing, not in another building, not at the far end of the pool. One booking at a time, always. Your group has the entire hill.
That is not a comfort. For a retreat, it is the working condition.

The terrace at dawn
Mist in the valley, limestone hills coming out of it, and the sun over the ridge. This is where the morning practice happens, and it is the thing participants describe first when they get home.

At dusk
The falls
A private waterfall on the estate. Sound healing beside running water is a different experience entirely — and here, nobody walks through it.

Three feet to nine. Empty at six in the morning, and completely still.

Jef Hill Reserve
What can be arranged
Sound healing and yoga are among the experiences we can point you toward, and a private chef or caterer can cook for the group throughout.
On Jef Hill Reserve, your Reserve Host coordinates all of it — the practitioners, the chef, the schedule, the dietary requirements, the arrival times — so that on the day you are running your retreat instead of running logistics.
Important, and we would rather say it plainly: we recommend practitioners for your convenience only. We take no commission and we never guarantee anyone’s availability. You book them directly, or your Reserve Host coordinates on your behalf — either way, the price they quote you is untouched by us.
